So here we are once again my folks its time for me to bestow upon you all the gift of knowledge about an anime I know you’ve never heard of and that just do happens to be needless.

Needless is an action-comedy science fiction anime series produced by Madhouse that aired in 2009 (specifically from July 2 to December 11, 2009).

Set in the year 2130, fifty years after World War III, the story takes place in a post-apocalyptic Japan. The war left behind irradiated, abandoned ruins known as “Black Spots”.

Some inhabitants of these contaminated areas have developed “Fragments”—extraordinary supernatural abilities such as telekinesis, fire manipulation, and immense strength. These gifted individuals are referred to as “Needless.”

Our protagonist is Cruz Schild, a boy searching for a way to avenge his sister’s death, who joins forces with Adam Blade, an incredibly strong, hot-blooded priest, and other allies. Together, they fight against the Simeon Corporation, a powerful organization led by Adam Arclight that seeks to eliminate the Needless.

And those are the details my fans and friends, I would certainly recommend this anime if you’re looking for something no one else is watching.

I will give a fair bit of warning, it doesn’t shy away from nudity, so if you’re squeamish about skin I suggest you buckle up your shoes and leave.

In terms of enjoyment value I’ll give it a a 10/10, it’s not everyday you get a poet system with so many consequences.

Characters are also a 10/10 a rather diverse cast with full personalities while avoiding long back stories.

Length 6/10, just for the lack of a season 2.
