Fujimoto Has Done it Again
Greetings, greetings my dear compatriots, as promised I’m here once again to talk about one of the greatest writers in modern media Tatsuki Fujimoto.
Our dear fujimoto has gradually wormed his way into one of my top biases in regards to selecting a means and mentor for mg entertainment, he comes up with strange and otherwise outlandish ideas that scratch that itch in your brain.
Say what you will about sensei Fujimoto but with the anime 17-26 having been released earlier this year you can say it’s another one of his masterpieces.
These compilation of short stories was put together from his original one shot mangas that he wrote either before or after he wrote chainsawman, much like his classic Fire Punch which explored the depths of loneliness and the depravity of human morals.
With this you get much less the usual with our venerable Sensei, strange, unusual, perhaps a little disgusting but ultimately a satisfying piece(that may have been a poor choice of words given he has a theme with eating in his works).
Our venerable Sensei tends to explore basic human needs and how much if it is truly needed for one to be considered human, although some of his works seem to actually have no meaning at all, as stated by the man himself.
So stop your hard work take a break from the serious stuff and grab yourself some popcorn and get ready for one of fujimoto Sensei’s strangest.
So if you’re not a fan of anime or your new and trying to find something that’s not the endless repetition of shounen (a genre catering to young boys) then you can feel free to check it out, trust me, afterall I’m your one and only shameless plug.
