Gege feeding His Fans 

Hello my wonderful viewers, it’s 2026 and you must be excited to see what this year has in store for us in the entertainment industry.

For those of you who haven’t read the manga to it’s completion or have simply forgotten the finer details, let’s go over the culling game.

This is a large scale country wide battle royale that pits sorcerers against each other in a fight to the death, sign some very interesting mechanics like rule additions and modifications via points which can be obtained via eliminating other sorcerers, at least originally.

The entire game was orchestrated by none other than kenjaku a cursed sorcerer who’s effectively nothing but a body snatching brain.

 What does this mean to you?

Well of course with the coming of the year 2026 the anime Jujutsu Kaisen: Shimetsu Kaiyuu – Zenpen (The Culling Game) which premièred on January 8th  on crunchy roll.

Now, for those of you anime onlys can now enjoy and catch up to the manga a little bit and for those of you who enjoy both, well now you get to see your favourite scenes up on the big screen… Well maybe a little screen if you watch on your phone, though I don’t quite think size matters in this context.

As a manga reader myself knowing what’s in store for those who haven’t read it themselves, starting us off in 2026 I hope you all are strapped into your seats for this one because Gege Sensei has only one favourite and it’s most definitely not yours.

The great Gege Akutami much like his evil twin Tatsuki Fujimoto seem to have a penchant for instilling a certain flavour of agony in their fans that somehow keeps them coming back for more, and just like fujimoto Sensei I will be covering Akutami’s works as well so do stay tuned.
